Animated models

Send an animated character from Meshy to Unity with its skeleton and animation clip.

Send an animated model

You send an animated model the same way as a static one. Before you start, run the bridge in Unity. For the steps, see Bridge to Unity.

To send an animated model, follow these steps:

  1. In the Meshy web app, open the animated model in the viewer.

  2. Select the animation you want to send.

  3. In the viewer toolbar, click DCC Bridge (the plug icon).

  4. Click Send to Unity.

Meshy sends the rigged character with the selected animation at 30 frames per second, as an FBX file in a ZIP file. The plugin imports the character and its animation clip into a new folder in Assets/MeshyImports, and adds the character to the open scene.
