What is Meshy?
Meshy is a Generative AI suite for 3D game asset creation. Our vision is to automate the whole 3D game asset production pipeline with generative AI, including 3D modeling, texturing, and animation.
What are the technical requirements to run Meshy?
To use Meshy, all you need is a computer that can connect to the internet!
Is my asset safe?
Yes, totally! If you are using the web app, your assets are safely stored on AWS. We will NOT share your data or use it for any training purpose without your consent.
What 3D file formats do you support?
Currently, we support .fbx / .obj / .stl / .gltf / .glb files. Be sure to upload one model at a time. The size limit for the web app is 50MB, and for Discord Bot is 25MB.
Will I own the assets I generated?
Under our Terms of Use, you own the assets created through our platform, provided that you have used materials that do not violate the copyrights of others in the process of generating your model. If you are on a premium plan, you own all assets you create with Meshy. If you are on a free plan, we grant you a CC BY 4.0 license instead.
Billing FAQs
How do credits work?
Credits can be used for all the services provided by Meshy. The number of credits deducted will differ depending on the specific service you choose to use.
Can I get free credits?
Sure! We give free users 200 credits each month, and the credits reset at 0:00 (UTC) on the 1st of each month. You can also earn up to 200 free credits every day by sharing your work on our Discord community.
How many credits does each task cost?
For most tasks, generation costs 5 credits, while downloading costs 20 credits. If you use AI texturing through concept art, the generation cost is 10 credits.

What payment methods can I use?
We accept all major cards. We also accept Cash App Pay, Alipay, and WeChat Pay. Please note that Alipay and WeChat Pay are only accepted for purchasing extra credits.
Do credits have an expiration date?
There are two types of credits, monthly credits and permanent credits.
Monthly credits reset every month, whereas permanent credits do not expire. Monthly credits are part of your subscription plan. Permanent credits include extra credits you purchase or earn as rewards.
Can I cancel my subscription plan?
You can cancel your subscription anytime, but the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. If you change your mind, you can reinstate your plan before the cycle ends.
Can I upgrade my subscription plan?
At any time, you are free to upgrade your subscription, and the changes will take effect immediately.
Can I get a refund?
Credits are non-refundable, and we're sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. We suggest carefully considering your purchase before finalizing it, as once the transaction is done, it cannot be reversed.
