Lychee Slicer

Send a model from the Meshy web app straight into Lychee Slicer by Mango3D, ready to slice for your resin or filament printer.

Before you begin

  • You need a Pro plan or higher. On the Free and Starter plans, clicking LycheeSlicer opens the upgrade options.

  • Install Lychee Slicer on the computer where you use the Meshy web app. The web app opens Lychee Slicer through your browser, so you don't need a plugin.

Send a model

To send a model to Lychee Slicer, follow these steps:

  1. In the left sidebar of the Meshy web app, click Print. If the panel asks you to select a model, select it in the list of your generations.

  2. In the Print panel, under Send to Printer, click LycheeSlicer.

  3. In the browser prompt, select Always allow www.meshy.ai to open links of this type in the associated app so the browser doesn't ask again, and then click Open LycheeSlicer.

  4. If Lychee Slicer opens a Save As dialog, make sure the file name ends in .stl, and then click Save. Without the extension, the model doesn't load.

Save As dialog over Lychee Slicer with the file name Meshy.3mf and its extension highlighted

Meshy sends the model as an STL file, scaled to 75 mm tall, and Lychee Slicer adds it to the build plate.
